Holy Week at Alpha is packed with meaning, worship, and reflection, and you're not going to want to miss any of it. We've designed different worship experiences for the important days of the week to honor and remember the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. You're invited to deepen your relationship with Christ as you come and worship with us this week.
Wednesday April 12th 5:45 pm - Seder Meal
We're eating a traditional Jewish Seder meal together as we look at Passover. It's a great chance to explore the symbolism of the Old Testament as we see how Jesus was the fulfillment of everything they hoped for.
Thursday April 13th 6:00 pm - Maundy Thursday Service
On Thursday, we celebrate the Last Supper by worshipping and taking Communion together. It's a somber service that recognizes Jesus continuing servanthood even as he was about to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Friday April 14th from 7:00 am - 7:00 p.m - Good Friday Experience
On Good Friday we are remembering the sacrifice of Jesus as we walk through the Stations of the Cross. We've set up a multisensory experience in our sanctuary designed to give us just a taste of what Jesus went through leading up to the Cross. The sanctuary will be open all day for you to come whenever you have time, to spend a few moments in prayer and reflection as you revisit the tremendous sacrifice of Christ.
Sunday April 16th - Easter Services
7:00 AM - Sunrise Service at Gravel Hill - We welcome the day by reflecting on the resurrection in the church's cemetery. We will have a short worship and reflection welcoming the day and the Resurrection together. Breakfast will be served afterward in the fellowship hall.
10:30 AM - Easter Celebration - We will celebrate the Risen Lord together in worship in our Sanctuary! Bring a friend!
